Admissions & Tuition

Idlewild is now welcoming inquiries for the 2027–2028 school year.

We offer two full-time programs within a small, nature-based learning community:

Upper Elementary | Grades 4–5 | $10,800 per year
A strong academic foundation paired with curiosity, creativity, responsibility, and meaningful time outdoors.

Middle School | Grades 6–8 | $13,500 per year
Rigorous academics, deeper inquiry, growing independence, practical skills, and opportunities for leadership and student-directed work.

Enrollment is intentionally limited so that each student can be known, challenged, and taken seriously.

Tuition is comprehensive and can be paid in monthly installments without additional fees.

It includes academic instruction, curriculum, standard books and materials, assessments, nature-based programming, regular school-day activities, and local field experiences. There are no additional required application, enrollment, curriculum, materials, technology, or activity fees.
